As a Real Estate Agent, Your Time is Valuable.
Why fumble through the dark when there's a solution available?
Idaho Real Estate Education Waiver
- What You Need to Know -
- Idaho waives the national portion of the licensing exam…prelicense education, and broker experience requirements (if applicable) if you are licensed on active status in another state
- If you are licensed in a “single licensure” state, you must hold a Principal or Designated Broker license to qualify for an Idaho broker license.
- All other prelicense education is waived with the exam waiver.
- There is a process you need to follow, detailed on the Idaho Real Estate Commission Website.
- In short, if you’re actively licensed in another state, the education requirements and the national portion of the exam requirements are waived…meaning you still need to pass the Idaho portion of the exam (which has some unique nuances)

The course is offered virtually with a live instructor who is engaging, caring, and has a wealth of experience to share with the students. This is not a self-guided course, so you need to be present, on camera, and ready to respond at any time. So much more convenient than having to travel 30 or 90 minutes to attend a course 5 times a week. And it probably kept my attention better than if I had just been a physical body in a seat.

The instructor is very knowledgeable and has real life advice for when you get your license and become an agent. The class material was very easy to follow and understand. The Zoom option for weekend classes is great when you have a 9-5 job. I feel very prepared for the state/national exam.

I picked this class because the schedule was ideal. Barb is an awesome teacher. She's very energetic and has a ton of real world examples/stories to benefit you. Believe it or not the class was fun. Highly recommend this class.

Terrific class. We had an enthusiastic, engaging instructor in Barb Laws, and a weekend schedule that caters to those of us who work during the week. Haven't taken the license exam yet, but key concepts are hard-wired into my brain because of the targeted repetition and I feel well prepared. They were also very accommodating of my schedule, allowing me to take Modules 1 and 2 on slightly different schedules. Highly recommend.

I loved doing my Real Estate module classes with Idaho Online Real Estate Academy. I needed a class to work with my schedule and to be able to participate in the evenings. This class was perfect. I was worried about doing a class through zoom, but the instructor Nikki kept the information flowing and the class interesting. Nikki really helped us know the information we needed in order to pass the class and I appreciated that. It was nice to be in comfort of my own home, but felt like I was learning all I needed to about Real Estate. I would recommend this online course to anyone looking into Idaho Real Estate!
I learned everything I needed to from the incredible instructor. The teaching tactics may not be for everyone, take that into consideration. It is very much so a lecture and you take notes and study on your own time. That being said, the curriculum is very informative and covers enough of the basics. This is based off of the first mandatory class Pre-license Module 1.
I loved taking both of my pre license courses in my own home. Nikki was such a nice and helpful instructor. She was fun and entertaining the whole time. Highly recommend!
