Awards and eligibility depend on state rules and available funding. Other fees apply in getting a real estate license outside of education.
How Idaho LAUNCH, Next Steps Idaho, and Idaho Dept. of Labor Work Together
Idaho’s workforce funding ecosystem connects three programs to support eligible career training pathways such as Real Estate Sales Agent (SOC 41-9022). In most cases, working-age adults complete workforce and application steps through IdahoWorks, while graduating high school seniors complete student-side planning and Idaho LAUNCH steps in Next Steps Idaho. Idaho LAUNCH is the grant mechanism that may reduce approved training costs, subject to state rules and available funding.
Idaho Dept. of Labor
The Idaho Department of Labor oversees workforce services and operates the IdahoWorks portal where many adults begin their eligibility and application workflow.
Next Steps Idaho
Next Steps Idaho is the student-facing portal where graduating seniors explore pathways, complete planning requirements, and submit Idaho LAUNCH steps through the official state process.
Idaho LAUNCH
Idaho LAUNCH is the grant program that may cover up to 80% of approved training costs in eligible pathways. For real estate licensing, adults and seniors may qualify under different state-defined rules.
Idaho Online Real Estate Academy is the first real estate school in Idaho accepted as an approved provider in the Idaho LAUNCH program, creating a lower-cost pathway to licensing for eligible learners.
Eligibility, award decisions, timelines, and final program rules are set by Idaho state agencies and may change. Always verify current requirements in official state portals.
